The Minister for Transport has been slammed for failing to accept an invite to meet with the Transport committee to discuss viable rural transport options.
That’s despite Minister Ross expected in Sligo tomorrow for the sod-turning of two major road projects, the N4 and the Western Distributor Road.
Sligo Leitrim Fianna Fáil TD Eamon Scanlon has accused Minister Ross of showing contempt for anywhere other than his own constituency.
The Sligo based TD say’s he heard enough of excuses from the current government when it comes to providing infrastructure in rural Ireland.
