Safety concerns on the R281 and R283 roads were raised at this week’s Manorhamilton Municipal District meeting of Leitrim County Council.
Fine Gael Councillor Sean McDermott raised a number of matters including problems with flooding on the R283 close to Manorhamilton and the situation with the R281 sinking in places between Glenfarne and Kiltyclogher.
Speaking to Ocean FM Councillor McDermott says the part of R281 that has sunken is a particular safety concern.
