A north Leitrim village has been described as the only village or town in the County not have a regular bus service servicing the residents of it’s community.
Calls are being made on the “local link” service in Leitrim to extend it’s service to cover the village of Kiltyclogher where the only transport service available is Bus Eireann run on Friday’s to Manorhamilton.
Sinn Feinn Councillor Padriag Fallon made the calls at a recent Manorhamilton Municipal District meeting pf Leitrim County Council.
Coucillor Fallon say’s it’s simply not acceptable that the village is left without a bus service.
