There are 71 people waiting for a bed in the north west today.
31 are waiting in Letterkenny University hospital while Sligo is the 3rd worst affected hospital in the country with 40 patients forced to wait.
Both hospitals have seen an increase compared to yesterdays figures where there were 29 waiting in Sligo and 24 in Letterkenny.
The worst affected Hospital in the country today is University Hospital Limerick where 57 people are waiting while the national figure is 442
