Farmers urged to take part in technology survey

Technology and digitalisation are set to change the landscape of Irish agriculture in the years to come.

Now, the IFA with Farm Business Skillnet want to understand how these technologies are being used and ensure that farmers are equipped with the knowledge to get the most from them.

They have now commissioned Amárach Research, the independent market research company, to undertake a survey of farmers.

The IFA says farmers’ input is crucial and will help to understand the current usage of farming technology and how it can best support, educate and train farmers to use new technologies on their own farm.

Farmers may complete the survey by logging onto the IFA web site — and they will be entered into a draw to WIN an iPad.
