Laurence (Larry) Scanlon, Leyton, London and formerly of Sligo Town. Suddenly, at his residence in London. Funeral service will be held at 3.30pm on Wednesday 20th February at East Chapel, City of London Cemetery & Crematorium, Aldersbrook Road, Manor Park, London, E12 5DQ, UK. Family flowers only please to Manor Park Co-op Funeralcare, 50 Whitta Road, London, E12 5DA, UK before 12pm 20th February. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Age Action Ireland or Age UK.

 

Paddy Cannon, Glengesh, Ardara, Co. Donegal. Remains reposing at his son Gerard Cannon’s at Glengesh, Ardara. Funeral from there on Saturday at 11:15am, going to the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara, for Requiem Mass as 12 noon. Interment afterward in the adjoining cemetery. Rosary at 10pm. Family time from 11pm to 11am.

 

Mary Morrison (nee McDonagh) Doorly Park, Sligo and formerly of Spring Garden, Dromard, Co. Sligo.  Peacefully at the Cúram Unit, St. John`s Hospital Sligo.  Reposing at the Foley & Mc Gowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo this evening from 5.30pm with removal at 7.00pm to St. Anne’s Church, Sligo, arriving at 7.30pm.  Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11.00am with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to The North West Hospice, Sligo, C/o Foley & McGowans Funeral Home, Sligo.

 

Doreen Tighe, Mulla Cottage, Mullaghcor, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Retired theatre nurse, Baggot Street Hospital, Dublin. Reposing at Perry’s Funeral Home, Ballymote on Saturday  from 5pm. to 6:30pm. Arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception for 7p.m. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 11:30am. Burial afterwards in St. Columba’s Cemetery.

 

John Kilcolm, (Johnny), Drumee, Ballintogher, Co Sligo. Peacefully at his residence. (Survived by his brother, Laurence; sisters Raphael Coen and Brid Howley, Strandhill. Predeceased by sister, Margaret Cosgrove). Remains reposing at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Ballygawley, Co Sligo, on Saturday from 4pm until 7pm. Funeral mass on Sunday at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Sooey, Co Sligo. Private cremation to follow at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. House private. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Community Palliative Care, Sligo.
