On the eve of the new SSE Airticity League Premier Division season, Sligo Rovers have signed Ronan Coughlan from Cork City.
The 22-year old striker joins on a one-year deal, and has come to the Showgrounds in search of regular first team football.
Limerick-born Coughlan spent four seasons with Huddersfield Town as an academy player before coming back to Ireland to sign for Bray Wanderers in 2018. Following the Wicklow club’s well-published financial difficulties last season, Coughlan moved onto Cork City.
