A Sligo supermarket has been named the best in Ireland
It’s Cosgrove’s in Maugheraboy, which has been chosen as the best Centra in the country, winning the Store of the Year Award for 2019.
It has also won the Neighbourhood Store of the Year Award.
As part of the competition, Centra stores throughout the country were assessed for their range, quality, customer service, hygiene, service and community involvement.
Des and Martha Cosgrove were presented with the awards at the Centra National Conference in Killarney.
The award follows a major revamping of the Maugheraboy store, as Des Cosgrove explains.
