The status orange wind warning remains in force for Donegal this morning, with gusts of up to 130 kilometres an hour are expected.
A status yellow wind warning is in place for Sligo and Leitrim, with gusts of 110km forecast.
There are reports throughout the region of branches, debris and, in some cases, trees, having been blown down on roads.
In Collooney, Co Sligo, about 40 ESB customers are without power but it is expected to be restored about 11:45 this morning.
