The football-mad community of Easkey gathered in The Castle Inn on Thursday night for a very special All-Ireland club final edition of ‘The Final Whistle’ – as the west Sligo club prepares for its historic All-Ireland junior club football final against Beaufort of Kerry.
Guests included: Dessie Sloyane, Ruby Mullen (the captain’s mum), Mikey Kenny and PJ Sloyane, Big Tom (The Easkey version), Kay Rolston, the under 8, 10 and 12 Easkey footballers….and many more.
