Work starts on departures area at Knock airport



Work has commenced on re-modelling and redesigning the existing departures area at the Ireland International West airport to create a modern and spacious departures hall.

Phase 1 of the project will be completed by the end of March and provide for New seating area for passengers 20% increase in restaurant seating and space and dedicated work zones with power outlets for charging phones and smart tablets

The upgrades will transform the departures area, provide passengers with an enhanced experience and allow the airport to provide increased capacity as passenger numbers continue to increase.
