A Sligo councillor says a north Sligo medical health centre building is not fit for purpose.
Fine Gael Councillor Sinead Maguire has called on Sligo County Council to lobby the HSE to provide the money to upgrade the centre.
She says if people are to remain in rural areas, they must have essential services such as a multi-disciplinary health centres.
