Sligo GP, Dr Margaret Connolly, has insisted nobody has the right to intimidate or abuse a woman facing a pregnancy she is unable to continue with. In a letter to the North West Today show, Dr. Connolly says she finds it ‘painful’ to listen to some of the attitudes of pro-life contributors on the show, and that any decision a woman makes is private and should not be publicly discussed
