 James Monaghan (Jimmy), Lettercran, Pettigo, Co. Donegal. Suddenly at his residence.

Remains will be reposing at his late brother Tommy Monaghan’s residence today from 3.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Removal on Saturday at 10.30 am to St. Joseph’s Church, Lettercran for Requiem Mass at 11.00 am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family time please on Saturday morning.


Teresa McCarrick (nee Doohan), Mountain Road, Tubbercurry and formerly of Teeling St., Tubbercurry. Peacefully at Bailey’s Nursing Home Tubbercurry. Reposing at the home of her son and daughter-in-law Roger and Patricia McCarrick, Coill Dara House, Tubbercurry today, from 11 am until 3 pm and again from 5pm until 9pm. Removal to the Church of St. John Evangelist, Tubbercurry on Saturday for requiem mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Cloonacool. Enquiries to Coen’s Funeral Directors, Tubbercurry.  Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the North West Hospice, c/o Coen’s Funeral Directors, Tubbercurry.


Sean Dixon, known as Seany, Preston Lancashire England son of Andy and Kitty (nee Devitt) and brother to Andrew and Angi.  Removal to St.Brigids Church, Drumkeerin on Monday next at 7 o’clock. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 o’clock followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.


Sister Mary Rose McHugh, formerly Sister Mc Carton. Sisters of Mercy St Catherine’s Convent Ballyshannon Co Donegal. Peacefully at South West Acute Hospital Enniskillen.  Reposing at Catherine’s convent Ballyshannon today from 3pm to 8 pm.  Funeral mass in Catherine’s convent on Saturday at 11 am.  Followed by interment in the Abbey Assaroe cemetery Ballyshannon.


Mary Stewart, nee Mc Donagh, late of 34, St. Joseph’s Terrace, Sligo Town. Requiem Mass tomorrow, Saturday 26th January at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Cranagh. Interment afterwards in Sligo Town Cemetery at approximately 2.30 p.m.



May Kennoy (nee Conboy), 62 St. Edward’s Terrace, Sligo, peacefully at her home. Reposing at Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo, from 4.00pm to 5.30pm on Sunday. Removal on Monday to St. Joseph’s Church, Ballytivnan, Sligo, arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.00am. Burial follows in Sligo Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to North West Hospice Fund c/o Seán Feehily at Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo.
