AGSI concerned over cramped conditions at Sligo Station



The issue of accommodation for Gardai in Sligo was highlighted at meeting of senior members in Sligo this week.

 

The meeting of the Association of Gardai Sergeants and Inspectors took place in the Riverside Hotel on Wednesday where members voiced concerns over cramped conditions at Sligo Garda station.

 

General resources and transport were also topics of concern for members of the force.

 

Vice President of the AGSI and Donegal based sergeant, Paul Wallace, says while remedial works are planned for the station, accommodation still remains a serious issues.
