Sean Dixon, known as Seany, Preston, Lancashire, England. Son of Andy and Kitty (nee Devitt) and brother to Andrew and Angi. A funeral service will be held in Preston. Padraig Mc Dermott, late of Cabra, Dublin 7 and Bunninadden, Co. Sligo. Mass today at 12 noon in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Bunninadden. Burial afterwards in Cloonameehan cemetery.
Thomas A. (Tommy) McDermott, Leckaun, Riverstown, Co Sligo. Peacefully after a brief illness at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing today at his residence from 5pm until 8pm. House private thereafter please. Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of The Sacred Heart, Riverstown at 12 noon on Friday with burial afterwards in Townagh cemetery.
Maisie (Mary) Rooney, Gubacreeney, Kinlough, Co Leitrim. Peacefully at Wexford General Hospital. Remains reposing today at her late residence from 12pm to 8pm. Removal of remains on Friday morning to arrive at St Aidan’s Church, Kinlough at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Aidan’s cemetery. All enquires to Liam Gilmartin Funeral Directors, Kinlough.
Nuala Simon, Smutternagh, Knockvicar, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. Peacefully at Galway Hospice. Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon on this Thursday evening from 4.30 p.m. until 8.15 p.m. Removal to St. Teresa’s Church, Corrigeenroe, arriving 9.00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Kileenan Cemetery.
James Monaghan (Jimmy), Lettercran, Pettigo, Co. Donegal. Suddenly at his residence. Remains will be reposing at his late brother Tommy Monaghan’s residence from 5.00 pm today (Thursday) and on Friday from 3.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Removal on Saturday at 10.30 am to St. Joseph’s Church, Lettercran for Requiem Mass at 11.00 am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family time please on Saturday morning.
