Roads in the Kinlough area of Leitrim and Cliffoney in Sligo are among the areas where motorists are advised to take particular care.
Gardai are also advising of dangerous roads in Sligo Town and are warning motorists to take extra care on hills and higher ground.
Meanwhile in Ballymote roads are also being described as dangerous especially on secondary roads.
