Free WiFi service to be rolled out

A free public WiFi service is to be rolled out in County Sligo.

Under the WiFi4EU Scheme, Sligo town and a number of surrounding areas are to benefit from the service.

Currently implemented in a number of cities around the EU, it’s hoped that it will benefit not only tourists coming to the region but also local people who may not have access to unlimited data on their phones.

Speaking to Ocean FM’s John Lynch, local Fianna Fail Councillor, Keith Henry outlines the details.
