Contents from truck causing delays at Collooney being removed



Sligo Fire Service say the contents of an arctic lorry overturned at Collooney Co Sligo is currently being removed.

The incident which happened just before 7am is causing major delays on the N4 this morning and it is expected it could take several hours before the road is cleared.

It’s understood there was nobody injured in the incident.

The outbound lane from Sligo is reduced to one lane and the inbound lane to Sligo is closed completely.

Sligo County Council says Sligo bound traffic is being diverted through Ballygawley and ‘outward’ traffic confined to one lane.

Traffic coming from Ballintogher should avoid the Carraroe area and divert via Holy Well road as far as Tonaphubble
