North West students encouraged to enter “Grow2CEO” food competion

Secondary school students in Sligo Leitrim and Donegal are being encouraged to enter the “GROW2CEO” a unique competition that hopes to find Ireland’s next young food entrepreneurs.

“GROW2CEO” will give students and teenagers across Irish Secondary Schools everything they need to start growing some food, get a better understanding of what goes into the food they eat, and how they can make healthier choices in their own lives.

Participation is free for all competing schools and register is open until February 15th.

Karen O’ Donoghue from Grow it yourself says that the competition is designed to help secondary schools students to get a unique insight into the food industry.
