Collooney to host Sligo-Down NFL game

Connolly Park in Collooney will host Sligo’s opening home match in Division 3 of the Allianz Football League next month.

Paul Taylor’s side will welcome Paddy Tally’s Down to Connolly Park on Sunday, February 3rd, at 2pm.

Markievicz Park is unavailable while Sligo GAA complete a €100,000 redevelopment of the pitch surface. The indications are that Sligo’s first competitive game at Markievicz in 2019 will be their Connacht semi-final clash against either London or Galway on May 19th.

The venues for Sligo’s remaining two home league games in Division 3, against Westmeath (Mar 3rd) and Offaly (Mar 24th), have still to be finalised.
