Following the resignation of Independent Councillor John Campbell from Donegal County County Council, there is growing speculation that a local school teacher will be co-opted to replace him.
Drimarone-based Seamus Maguire has worked closely with John Campbell on a number of community projects in recent years, including attracting the National Rowing championships to Donegal Town.
Speaking earlier to Ocean FM, John Campbell explained why he thinks Seamus Maguire would be the ideal man to replace him on the Council.
