Leitrim County Council is to contact the Minister for Communications Richard Bruton to try to establish why broadband services have not been rolled out as promised to areas such as Drumkeerin.
The motion was proposed by local councillor Mary Bohan at this week’s meeting of the council.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, Cllr Bohan outlined how local business and home owners have been left extremely frustrated by delays when it comes to the provision of high speed broadband.
