Gardai in south Donegal are warning of what they describe as a highly organised burglary gang travelling around at night.
And they are urging business owners in particular to ensure their premises are properly secured, paying special attention to roof areas, which may be used as an entry for break-ins.
Gardai are also asking members of the public to contact them if they see any vehicles or activity that is suspicious.
On Sunday night last, detectives from Ballyshannon believe they may have foiled the intentions of those in a vehicle which they stopped, as Garda Stephen Fahy told North West Today.
