A north Leitrim business leader is hoping 2019 will be a year of improvements for the town of Manorhamilton and for north Leitrim in general.
Philip Rooney, chairperson of Manorhamilton Business Forum, is calling for two million euro to be allocated for a major face lift for Manorhamilton.
And, with local elections taking place this May, he says this should be a priority for all candidates in the area:
