Dolan exits World Darts Championship



Brendan Dolan’s memorable run in the 2018 PDC World Darts Championship came to an end on Saturday afternoon when he was beaten by England’s Nathan Aspinall in the quarter-finals.

The Fermanagh native was soundedly beaten by an in-form Aspinall who took best of nine sets match 5-1 at London’s Alexandra Palace.

Nonetheless, it is Dolan’s most impressive showing in the World Darts Championship, and he collects a cheque for £35,000 (sterling) for reaching the last eight of the competition.
