There’s speculation that unsuccessful presidential candidate Peter Casey may run as an election candidate in Donegal.
He says he will soon be making an announcement about his future in politics.
He has also pointed out that most of his votes in the presidential election came from people in rural Ireland.
He told the Pat Kenny Show on Newstalk that he’s not finished with electoral politics.
