A new “Christian based movement” are confident of running a number of candidates in the Counties of Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal in the 2019 Local elections.
The new political party have been established in the aftermath of the abortion referendum and hope to represent those who voted against the introduction of abortion and now feel disenfranchised when it comes to political representation.
Spokesperson for the new party and Leitrim native Sean Wynne has confirmed to Ocean FM that they are currently in talks with a number of potential candidates and they will contest the local elections on a number of different issues.
