Investigations are underway following a fatal road traffic collision in Co. Donegal yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened at around 4.30pm along the N56 between the villages of Crolly and Dunlewey.
The sole occupant of the car, a woman in her 70s, died after her car collided with a ditch.
Emergency services arrived at the scene where she was pronounced dead; her body was removed to Letterkenny University Hospital
The road remains closed as Garda Forensic Collision Investigators examine the area and diversions are in place.
