Bridget McGourty Leeds, daughter of the late Willie and Mary Catherine McGourty Derrygoon, Kiltyclogher Co Leitrim. Removal of remains this Friday to St Patrick’s Church,  Kiltyclogher, arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass Saturday at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

 

Aisling Browne, The Foxes Den, Tonaphubble, Holy Well Road, Sligo F91 Y7X9, aged 26 years. Beloved and cherished daughter of Gabriel Browne (formerly of Sligo County Council) and Deirdre Kearins Browne (Ursuline College), and sister to Ferdia and Eimear. Reposing at her home today. Funeral will arrive on Friday at St Joseph’s Church, Ballytivnan Road, Sligo, for Requim Mass at 1pm, with burial afterward in Sligo Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired in lieu to Iona/Steps Projects, HSE Day Services, Cregg House, Sligo, C/o Gerard Clarke and Sons Funeral Directors, Main Street, Ballisodare, Co Sligo. House strictly private to extended family members on Friday morning.

 

John O Brien, ‘Mount Carmel’, Pearse Road, Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at Nazareth House Chapel, Church Hill, Sligo, on Friday from 6pm with removal at 7pm to St Anne’s Church, Sligo, arriving at 7:30pm. Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Saturday with funeral proceeding afterward to Sligo Cemetery. House private please.

 

Kathy (Kathleen) Griffin, nee Waldron, Toam, Blacklion, Co. Cavan.  Peacefully at the North West Hospice, Sligo.  Reposing at St. Patricks Church, Killinagh, Blacklion from 5 until 7pm  followed by prayers on Friday evening. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Killinagh Cemetery.  House private please, family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to The North West Hospice, Sligo.

 

A Month’s Mind Mass for the late Mary Gilmartin (nee Enright), Crozon Downs, Sligo, will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday, Nov. 24th in Saint Anne’s Church, Sligo. Burial of Ashes follows in Ahamlish Cemetery
