New figures released to Fianna Fail show that almost 13% of farmers across the north west are still waiting for the remainder of their GLAS payments.
Now, Sligo/Leitrim Fianna Fail TD Marc MacSharry is calling on the Agriculture Minister to ensure that all GLAS payments are made before Christmas.
He says we are now moving to a point where 2018 payments will soon start to be issued, therefore he wants all 2017 payments to be completed as soon as possible.
Deputy MacSharry says that in some areas, the number of farmers waiting for GLAS payments is even more than 13%.
