Rural Frustration increases over lack of high speed broadband



Recent reports are suggesting that there are still major problems when it comes to the roll out of high speed broadband in the North West.

 

The programme for Government promised to bridge the digital divide between urban and rural areas and stated that no town or village would be left behind under the National Broadband Plan.

However recent reports are suggestion that many rural homes and businesses areas are still awaiting the instillation of high speed Broadband despite the service being available close by.

 

Sligo Leitrim Fianna Fáil TD, Marc MacSharry is an Irish says this has left many customers frustrated.
