Easkey gaelic footballers are celebrating a first-ever Connacht junior football title following their dramatic 1-11 to 1-10 success over a gallant Clonbur (Galway) side at Enniscrone last Sunday.

Easkey led the match by 1-10 to 0-2 at one stage, only for Clonbur to come storming back as they scored 1-8 without reply to level the game.
Then, with time almost up, Ryan McKenna slotted over an audacious point with what proved to be the last (and winning) kick of the game.
