Manorhamilton student represents Ireland in YouthStart European Entrepreneurship Awards

A Manorhamilton student will represent Ireland in the YouthStart European Entrepreneurship Awards being hosted by Foroige on Friday.

Rachel McPartlin took the national title in May with her business Rachel’s Heavenly Homemades, a Gluten Free Bakery.

She reached the finals having competed against twelve hundred other young entrepreneurs in county and regional finals.

Young Entrepreneurs from Austria, Spain, Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Albania will compete alongside Rachel for the European title.

Caroline Cooke, Senior Youth Officer with Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship says Rachel’s business is thriving.
