The Irish Blood Tranfusion service is asking people in Sligo and Donegal to come out and give blood when they visit the region over the next week.
A clinic will operate at Colaiste Cholim in Donegal this afternoon and evening and in Sligo next week,
Stephen cousins, National Donor Services Manager with the Irish Blood Transfusion Service, said there is always a dip in supplies following a bank holiday weekend and he is asking people to help replenish supplies.
Mr. Cousins gave details of the clinics in Ballyshannon and Sligo to Ocean FM news.
