Irish Water is to replace old water mains in an area of north Sligo.
About 800 metres of mains in the Attiduff and Ardtrasna areas, near Ballinfull, are to be replaced with plastic piping.
The work is expected to start in the coming days and be finished in about a month.
A section of the works will take place on two local roads near the N15 at Mullaghnaneane Cross.
