Recruitment, training for eir jobs have already begun



Eir says training and recruitment has already started for 350 new customer services jobs announced today.

The telecommunications company is building a new customer contact centre at Rathedmond in Sligo town.

The 350 new jobs are welcome for the North West.

Eir says the jobs being created are new in the customer services area.

CEO of Eir Carolan Lennon says they want to bring these jobs back inhouse at Eir and they have an extensive training process in place.

She says they chose Sligo and the North West because of the workforce available:
