Bridget (May) McGowan Carney, Co Sligo. Peacefully in her 90th year at the Mowlam Nursing Home. Remains reposing at her home today until 7pm  Removal this evening to St Colmcille’s Church, Rathcormac to arrive at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Drumcliffe cemetery.

 

 

Niamh Ginger (nee Keane), Aylesbury, Bucks. U.K. and formerly of “Glenvara”, Sea Road, Sligo. Daughter of PJ and Maureen and sister of Sharon, Aileen, Patricia and David, Sligo. Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am on Wednesday October 24th in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, High Street, Aylesbury. Burial follows in Aylesbury Cemetery. A memorial service will be celebrated at 12 noon on Saturday November 10th in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo.

 

Gerry Harrison, Behey, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. At Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at his late residence today until 10pm, with remains going to St Mary’s Church, Cashelard, on Friday morning for 11am funeral Mass. Burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to North West Hospice,  C/o of John McGee or any family member. House private on the morning of the funeral please. A one-way system is in place entrance from Behey lane at the Council Yard to his residence. Follow signs for exit at the house.

 

 

Martin Gilchrist, Aughafin, Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford. Peacefully after a short illness. Son-in-law of Mary Gilroy, Grange, Co Sligo. Reposing at his residence today until 7pm and Friday from 3pm to 7pm. House strictly private thereafter. Funeral mass on Saturday in St Mary’s Church, Edgeworthstown at 12 noon, with burial afterward in Aughafin cemetery. Donations if desired to Longford Palliative Care.

 

 

Ann O Rourke, Fatima Avenue and Larassa, Sea Road, Strandhill Road, Sligo. Peacefully after a brief illness at the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Reposing at the Foley and Mc Gowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Friday evening from 5:30pm to 7pm. Funeral will arrive to St. Anne’s Church, Sligo on Saturday for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Sligo Cemetery.

 

 

Martin Kearns, Markievicz Heights, Sligo and formerly Geevagh, Co. Sligo Peacefully at The private Mater Hospital, Dublin.  Reposing at his home from 2pm to 10pm on Friday. Removal from his home on Saturday to Saint John’s Church, Carraroe, to arrive for Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial to follow in Scarden Cemetery, Strandhill Road, Sligo. House private to family Saturday morning please.

 

 

 

Margaret Elizabeth Johnston, 566 Sligo Road, Dornogagh, Belcoo, Co Fermanagh. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11am in St Joseph’s Church, Mullaghdun, Belcoo, with burial afterward in adjoining cemetery. House strictly private please.
