Trolley figures at crisis level in Letterkenny University Hospital



Letterkenny is again one of the most overcrowded hospitals in the country again today.

 

There are now 54 patients on trolleys there – that’s up from 31 people waiting yesterday.

 

It’s one of the worst affected hospitals in the country after Limerick where there are 55 people waiting to be admitted.

 

Galway is also dealing with major overcrowding today with 46 people on trolleys at the University Hospital.

 

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation figures also show there are 28 people waiting at Sligo University Hospital.
