Sligo TD meets Taoiseach to get reassurance that Christmas Bonus will be paid



The Government has no intention of getting rid of the Christmas Bonus.

That’s according to Sligo/Leitrim FG Deputy Tony McLoughlin who has met the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection Regina Doherty on the matter in recent days.

The concern follows recent media reports suggesting the bonus is under threat in next Tuesday’s budget.
