‘With every challenge comes an opportunity.’
That’s the message from the new CEO of the Western Development Commission, Clare native Tomas O Siochain.
He joins the WDC from NUIG, where he was a programme manager.
Before that, he worked for 14 years as a journalist with RTE and TG4.
He says that various State agencies and those working to promote the West are now beginning to work together.
And, among the items at the top of his list as CEO of the Western Development Commission is to bring together all those who are working toward the same goals.
