Campaigner says payments into banks have led customers away from post offices



The Save Rural Ireland campaign fears that An Post is going to be left with sorting offices all over the country.

Founder of the campaign Gerry Loftus from Mayo says that financial transactions will end up being done by the banks.

He says it will mean the end of small towns and villages.

He says fundamental mistakes have already been made by removing services from post offices and we need to shout stop to what’s going on:
