A Leitrim Councillor has hit out at the slow progress being made in the construction of a new fire station for Manorhamilton.
In 2017 an announcement was made to confirm that a new fire station would be constructed in the town. The project was further moved on with the acquisition of a site.
However it’s expected that construction work will not get underway for at least another twelve to eighteen months.
Fine Gael Councillor Frank Dolan is disappointed that further progress has not been made on the project.
