The number of patients on trolleys has halved at Letterkenny University Hospital.
There have been over 40 patients on trolleys at the hospital for the last few days.
But today’s figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show that these figures are down to 21.
There are nine patients waiting at Sligo University Hospital.
