The HSE is rolling out a positive parenting programme in Sligo and Leitrim.
Known as the ‘Triple P’ initiative, public seminars to help parents are being run from this week in Sligo and Leitrim.
The HSE is working with the community and voluntary organisation on the issue.
The HSE’s Teresa Cawley works in the Child Health Area and says that the upcoming workshops will focus on parents of under 10s for now:
