Parish Priest says community has rallied around following break-in at the weekend



The Parish Priest of St Anne’s Church in Sligo says the community has rallied together following a break-in to the Church at the weekend.

On Friday night, the church was broken into where a number of items were stolen along with significant damage done to the building.

Sligo Gardaí are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone that was in the area between 10.30pm and 11pm on Friday to make contact with them at Sligo Garda Station.

But mass was held as normal the following morning.
