County Sligo showjumper Richard Howley has won Gold for Ireland at the World Championships for Houng Horses in Lanaken, Belgium.
Aboard his mount ‘Irish Sport Uppercourt Cappucino’, Richard took the top honours after winning a 24-horse jump-off.
This success comes just a couple of weeks after the Enniscrone man’s Grand Prix success in Spain.
It was a clean sweep for Ireland in Belgium with Darragh Ryan and Mike Pender taking silver and bronze too.
