A 22 year old man is due in court later this evening charged in relation to the fatal crash in Donegal last Thursday.
The incident happened at around 7.45pm at Dooballagh, Letterkenny Co. Donegal
The 55 year old man driving a red Toyota Hilux 4×4 suffered serious injuries following a collision with a black Mazda, he later died in Letterkenny University Hospital due to his injuries.
A 33 year old woman who was the passenger in the Mazda was also sent to hospital.
The 22 year old driver of the Mazda fled the scene and was soon arrested.
He is due to appear before a special sitting of Carrick on Shannon District Court at 4.30pm today charged in relation to the crash.
