There are calls for an upgrade to fire service vehicles in county Sligo.
Sligo County Council heard this week that Sligo hasn’t been included in funding to upgrade the fleet nationwide.
Sinn Fein Councillor Chris McManus says the older vehicles in Sligo and Tubbercurry need to be replaced as outlined as best practice under national guidelines.
He is calling for this situation to be reviewed again:
