Forestry: Leitrim councillor not happy with council, IFA



A Leitrim Councillor says the IFA has not done enough on the forestry issue in Leitrim.

Independent Councillor Gerry Dolan made his views known when he met the President of the IFA at Drumshanbo mart last week.

He is one of a number of Councillors to raise the forestry issue at a Council level this week calling for the Local Authority to look into the economic impact vast sitka spruce plantations are having.
